Location sharing

If you scan a DrugLab118 QR code and use the "share my location" feature on the scan page, your location goes directly from your phone into your own WhatsApp, SMS, or Google Maps app. Drug Lab 118 Ltd never receives, logs, or stores your location. It never passes through our servers or our analytics.

There are two ways to share your location from a scan page:

• Send where you are now — your phone asks for a one-off location permission, turns it into a map link, and opens WhatsApp or SMS with a message ready to send, or copies the link for you to paste yourself.
• Share live location — the page shows you a short, illustrated guide to starting live location sharing inside WhatsApp or Google Maps yourself. We cannot start this for you, and we cannot see it once it starts.

We do not perform continuous or background location tracking. Building that would require a dedicated app, explicit consent, and a full GDPR impact assessment — it is not part of any DrugLab118 product today.

Analytics

We use privacy-friendly analytics to understand how our scan pages and tutorials hub are used — for example, which product was scanned, which language was shown, and whether a tutorial video was played to completion. These events never include your location, your name, or any other personal identifier.

What we collect elsewhere on this site

When you submit the contact form on this site, we collect your name, email address, organisation, and message so that our team can respond to your enquiry. We do not sell or share this information with third parties, and we retain it only for as long as needed to respond to and follow up on your enquiry.

Cookies

This site does not set video cookies until you choose to play an embedded video. Where we use analytics cookies, they are configured not to collect personal data without your consent.

Your rights
